Getting prepared for lining the ceiling.

One of the most recent jobs we worked on was redecorating and performing repair work on four rooms of a house in Ham. We love these types of job, and have added some pictures here so you can see what we did.

The pictures are of the bedroom, which needed a lot of TLC to get it looking smart and as good as new.

As part of the project, we chose to line the ceiling with Warlock Fibre Liner. This does an amazing job of strengthening the ceiling following the necessary prep work.

Ceilings can be prone to cracking, but the lining will prevent this from happening, and ensure a lasting result. We also performed a lot of sanding to smooth out surfaces (using our superb dust-free sanding equipment to reduce dust and bother for the customer).

Lined and ready for painting.

When it was prepared, we painted the ceiling with Dulux Super Matt White, and the walls with Johnstone Covaplus 10B15 Ivory, as well as a beautiful blue from the same range. The walls were lined with 1000 gauge lining paper where necessary.

Finally, we painted up all the woodwork and furniture to match, in Johnstone Acrylic Eggshell, with white for the window coil.

We’re really pleased with the result, and so was the customer. He had this to say:

“Anthony first worked for me in 2004. Since then he has completed garden redesign, driveway renewal, high quality interior decorating and outdoor security fence upgrading. The latest project in December 2015 took 4 weeks and as usual was completed to a high standard with great attention to technical details, sensitivity for good design, and cleanliness. I’m pleased I found him.” Stuart Saul
