The mission of the Center for Educational Resources and Technology Department (CERT) , formerly the Distance Education and Instructional Technology Department (DEIT), is to support and promote effective faculty use of instructional technology to enhance
faculty-student engagement and, as a result, student growth and development. We support and promote DeSales University’s Christian humanist philosophy in our work, including conducting ourselves with humility and honoring everyone we encounter
with respect and dignity.
