Full Time Faculty: Physical Therapy (Anatomy)
The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program within the Division of Healthcare Professions at DeSales University invites applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor to lead the Anatomy component of our entry-level curriculum beginning in May 2021.
The ideal candidate for this position has the primary responsibility for teaching didactic and laboratory content in human gross anatomy in synergy with DPT faculty teaching the musculoskeletal/orthopaedic curriculum across the first three semesters of the program. In collaboration with anatomy faculty from the Healthcare Division, this individual will also share the responsibility of teaching cadaver dissection to graduate DPT students in our state-of-the-art cadaver lab in the Gambet Center for Business and Healthcare. Experience in teaching or team-teaching in the areas of evidence-based practice, research, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, or exercise physiology, along with other content areas within the candidate’s area of clinical expertise is also desired.
Additionally, core faculty provide service to the DPT program by mentoring graduate student research projects, on-going participation in university, division and program faculty meetings, advising graduate students, assisting with DPT Program recruitment and accreditation activities, and supervising student performance in pro bono clinic experiences.
The successful candidate is expected to pursue a scholarly line of inquiry in accordance with his or her content areas of teaching and clinical practice. The DPT Program has a substantial budget to purchase research equipment to support areas of inquiry, and numerous opportunities with clinical partners within the surrounding community with whom to collaborate.
Salary and rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and training. Qualifications for this position include the following:
- Three to five years of graduate-level teaching and contemporary clinical expertise particularly in the content area of human anatomy
- PhD, EdD, DHS or other research-based terminal academic degree in physical therapy or related field is preferred. ABD candidates and applicants with post-professional DPT plus board certification in a physical therapy clinical specialization will also be considered
- Prior history of published scholarship and/or commitment to develop and engage in a line of scholarly inquiry
- Eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist in Pennsylvania
- An history of active participation in the American Physical Therapy Association and other professional leadership experiences are desired

DeSales University's Department of Theology & Philosophy housed in the Division of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Catholic Theology to begin August 2021. The faculty member will be expected to teach general theology courses as part of the DeSales University general education core curriculum and upper-level courses in the major; area of specialty is open.

Full Time Faculty: Assistant Professor of Philosophy
DeSales University's Department of Theology & Philosophy housed in the Division of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Philosophy to begin August 2021. Full Time Faculty: Anatomy & Cadaver Lab Manager
Bắn cá giải tríThe Division of Healthcare Professions at DeSales University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in gross anatomy and cadaver lab manager, to begin during summer 2021.
Duties will consist of teaching gross anatomy, both lecture and lab components. These courses may be a part of the curriculum for various programs at the university, such as the master of science in physician assistant studies, the doctor of physical therapy program, master of science in speech-language pathology, and undergraduate programs in neuroscience, biology, and nursing. Important components of the position will be the ability to manage and coordinate a cadaveric lab, including the procurement and preparation of donors, and the possible scheduling of the lab for use by entities external to the university. This management will also include supervision of a lab technician who assists in maintaining the lab.

Preference will be given to applicants with experience and documented excellence in teaching cadaveric human anatomy. The candidate is required to have a MS in anatomy or related basic science, but a terminal degree is preferred.
